What We Offer

Each family will be placed in their own room and offered the security and protection of that space from their arrival, whatever time of the day or night that might be. Clients who arrive with no food or inadequate clothing are immediately supplied with items from our extensive food and clothing stores, all of which have been kindly donated.

Get Involved

Government grants fund the bulk of our expenditure but there are other ways you could help the refuge. For example if you could help refurbish any of the rooms in the refuge that would be immensely helpful.  friend

Past Stories

Like lots of people, we met on the internet. I had just turned 18 and he was 20, well so I thought. Mum and Dad would certainly not have been happy to learn that we had met online, but he sounded so charming and caring and said some wonderful things to me. We then decided to meet some four weeks later in a café. As he walked through the door, I was greeted with a big friendly smile which was so warm and welcoming.

We began dating seriously for four months before he told me he loved me as he took my innocence away. I knew that I was in love and it felt so right; he told me he felt the same, however my parents had a bad sickening feeling about him, I kept telling myself that they didn’t know him as well as I did and I was the one that he loved, and I thought that they would come round eventually.
